Chimamanda Adichie eloquently shows us how a story depicts one side of an event or topic. The stories we tell and read inform us and form us. Should we keep seeking the same stories to reinforce what we already think, or should we seek new, different stories to grow and learn? What would our children benefit from? Should we take them to the same playing spots all the time or try to show them new, natural worlds they can learn from?
