How the world should work - A feel good story

Katharine and I think we are the luckiest people on the planet.

Why?

Let me tell you of one of the cool stories that has happened to us and that will continue to happen to everyone if we all work towards the same goal of making our planet a better place.

One year ago, I had the privilege of going to SVI (the Social Venture Institute), a very cool grouping of passionate people who connect social entrepreneurs, infuse them with hope, engagement, networking opportunities and direction and sends them on their way to change the world.

Naturebag was just starting off at that meeting at Hollyhock on beautiful Cortes Island, BC, Canada and one very key man with lots vision and passion saw the importance of children connecting with nature.

That man was just starting a new branch of Air Miles called My Planet, to inspiring people to make a real difference. He saw my naturebag presentation, walked up to me and said: “We should talk, you've got something good here, I think I can help.”

Fast forward one year and naturebag was just on Global News where Candice Batista said the naturebag was her 'favourite' green reward on Air Miles. Very cool.
