The Child and Nature Alliance is launched!

Sitting on the ferry to Victoria this week I was excited to be heading for the first AGM of the recently formed Child and Nature Alliance.

Heralding from the Get Outside Conference at Royal Roads University last March and inspired by the Child and Nature Network in the States,

The Child and Nature Alliance is 'a virtual network of organizations and individuals who are working to connect children to nature through education, advocacy, programming, policy, research, care-giving, and the built environment.'

Its vision may sound familiar, 'All children are connected with nature and the outdoors,' and we look forward to working closely with them on our common goals.

So check out their site, join their fan page on Facebook and start spreading the word of this brand new and exciting resource!
